community convictions
At grace church hackney we have deep convictions about community. We believe church is experienced and understood more fully when it provides opportunities beyond weekly attendance. Community is encouraged by offering mid-week small groups for those who wish to attend.
splinter groups
Our regular 'splinter' groups meet midweek from 7pm onwards in individuals’ homes to study the Bible, pray and support one another. Each group differs, but generally eats together first, then at about 8pm looks at and discusses a passage or topic from the Bible. Groups also meet informally at other times to socialise and build friendship networks.
prayer gathering
On the first Wednesday of every month the whole church gathers en-masse to pray.

All expressions and opinions are welcome including criticism and disagreement. The landlord asks us to avoid actual brawling …
